I picked up a Casio piano keyboard. This device came equipped with plenty of keys, mysterious menus, and weirdly named buttons. I have no idea how to work the silly thing. Happily, Casio also provides a learning program that can be accessed by a tablet.

The Manufacturer

Winnovo is trademarked by Heyuan Vastking Electronic Company, located in Heyuan, Guangdong.

Setup

It was easy to get started. I turned the tablet on, selected my internet provider, and added its Wi-Fi password. At that point, the Winnovo P20 downloaded an update and asked for my Google password. Then it suggested I automatically copy the applications already installed on my Android phone and add them to my tablet. This procedure saved a lot of time, although I did find that several of the added applications were not compatible with the new device. These were quickly deleted and substituted with tablet-friendly replacements.

Connectivity

This device is equipped with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Both systems connect quickly, have adequate range, and function well.

Video

The Winnovo P20’s IPS HD display enjoys a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The video is crisp and clear, the color is good, and the screen’s viewing angle is wider than expected. The contrast is acceptable, although not competitive with my 65-inch HDR television.

Sound

The stereo speakers are clear and loud although, due to their small size, slightly tinny. While not suitable for music, they are more than adequate for any other purpose.

Processor

This tablet is powered by a Spreadtrum SC9863A Octa-Core processor and equipped with 3GB of RAM. The Winnovo P20 was able to handle any task I wished of it smoothly and efficiently. W B Shillington

Storage

64GB of Rom is included with the Winnovo P20. An SD-micro slot allows for an additional 64GB of storage.

Camera

This device is equipped with a 5MP selfie camera and a rear-mounted 13MP camera. While my phone takes better photographs, the Winnovo P20’s primary camera works reasonably well and produces more detailed images than comparatively priced tablets. W B Shillington

Battery Life Test

I set the brightness to max and streamed Netflix for several hours. During the first movie, I used Bluetooth to connect the tablet’s sound output to my 100W PA speaker. That sounded really good! Then I cut the Bluetooth connection and turned up the tablet’s speakers until they were quite loud. After five hours of use, the battery’s level had dropped to five percent.

Overall Impression

This tablet covers all the bases. It utilizes the most up-to-date Android operating system and is equipped with a modern processor and enough RAM to ensure it can smoothly run all but the most demanding applications. W B Shillington It has plenty of storage space and HD quality resolution. If you are searching for a feature-packed 10-inch tablet at a reasonable price, the Winnovo P20 is an excellent option.
